Looking for a great way to kick off summer? Register now for Keep Texans Active! Presented by Beef Loving Texans, this virtual 5K event will support Marathon Kids in its mission to get kids moving and reverse the youth inactivity trend. All the fun is going down on June 3–5, 2022, when people around the state will RUN TEXAS and support the Marathon Kids mission every step of the way.
Why Participate in this Virtual 5K Fundraiser?
Since 1995, Marathon Kids has been helping kids improve their mental and physical health through walking and running, and achieve more than they ever thought possible. All proceeds from the Keep Texans Active family 5K will help this Texas-based nonprofit continue to deliver its free, evidence-based programming and award-winning technology to schools and communities across the country that need it most.
Let’s say that one more time: Every registration dollar helps Marathon Kids keep its programming 100% FREE! This means your contribution will directly support kids of all abilities, including those in underserved communities, and help to set them on the path toward a lifetime of good health.
When you join this fun 5K challenge, you’ll have three days to complete your run on any course you like. You can run in your neighborhood, on the track or at the gym—wherever you want! Between June 3-5, 2022, you will need to submit your results to the "Results" tab on RunSignUp.
Registration is now live! With each participant registration, you’ll receive an official race bib along with one raffle entry. Each additional $25 you donate gets you an extra raffle ticket. Purchasing an Ultimate 5K Registration will also get you an official event tee-shirt!
Results and raffle winner will be announced on Monday, June 6! They say everything is bigger in Texas, so let’s bring Texas-sized support to help Marathon Kids continue its mission to help kids find their inner athlete!
