All K-12 schools in the United States are eligible to apply for the Marathon Kids Grant.
Schools that have previously participated in Marathon Kids are required to complete the past season’s Finisher Survey to be considered for the Marathon Kids Grant.
Application and Implementation Timeline
Grant applications accepted from August 1 – September 15, 2019.
Grant notifications will be made via email by September 25, 2019.
Granted schools must register their running club by October 4, 2019.
Granted Schools to Receive
The cost to Marathon Kids to develop, offer, and deliver the program is $15 per participant.
Grantees receive funding in the form of a coupon code redeemable at marathonkids.org to cover all associated costs.
Awarded amounts will vary.
The Marathon Kids Program Includes
