How do I create an account for Marathon Kids?

Coaches: Visit app.marathonkids.org. Click the green Sign Up button. Then select coach profile. After you fill out the form be sure to check your email to activate your account.

Parents: The coach of your Marathon Kids program will invite you and you will receive an email with a unique link to your child(ren) from noreply@marathonkids.org.

Once you receive your email invitation click the blue "Sign Up" button to create your account
- Check your email to validate your account.

Org Leaders: The coach of your Marathon Kids program will invite you and you will receive an email with a unique link to your organization's running club from noreply@marathonkids.org.

How does the Marathon Kids digital platform work?

All runner effort is equated to miles. Participant effort is recorded in three ways:

Scanning ID Cards- Anytime you’ve scanned runner ID card using the Scanner app
Manual Entry- A manual entry of laps or activity time
Submissions- Approving parent-submitted miles

What are different ways to implement Marathon Kids?

Marathon Kids is customizable and flexible to meet the needs of our coaches across the country.

How do parents create an account?

Parents MUST first be invited by the coach of your Marathon Kids program.

You will receive an email with a unique link to your child(ren) from noreply@marathonkids.org.

Once you receive your email invitation, click the blue "Sign Up" button to create your account

Can I do Marathon Kids with my family?

Yes, you can check out our free resources for families.

If your child is participating in Marathon Kids at school or a community organization, the coach can grant permission for you to track miles completed at home.

Contact the coach and ask to be connected to your child.

Can I send a check?

Checks should be made payable to Marathon Kids, Inc.

We ask that you enclose a letter with your name, address, phone number, email address, and donation amount.

Do you accept employer matches?

Yes, you can contact your HR department to find out if your company has a matching program.

How do I update the credit card information on file for my recurring donation?

Email development@marathonkids.org and a staff member will cancel your current recurring donation and send you a link to set up a new recurring donation with your updated credit card.

How do I change the amount of my recurring donation?

Email development@marathonkids.org and a staff member will cancel your current recurring donation and send you a link to set up a new recurring donation with a new amount.

How do I cancel my recurring donation?

Email development@marathonkids.org and a staff member will cancel your current recurring donation. You can cancel your recurring donation at any time.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit in the United States, and all gifts to us are tax-deductible in the United States to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Our Tax ID number is 06-1722171.

Where is my donation receipt?

If you made your gift on our site by credit card, please check your email.

We send donation receipts to the email address you provided when making the donation.

Where can I find information about how Marathon Kids is using its donated funds?

We like our supporters to be 100 percent in the loop about how Marathon Kids uses donations. Take a look at our most recent annual report for the details about Marathon Kids’ finances.
