Located more than 2,000 miles off the coast of Chile, Easter Island is one of the most remote inhabited places on Earth. Famous for its mysterious Moai statues, volcanic landscapes, rich Rapa Nui culture, and breathtaking Pacific Ocean views, the island provides a race experience unlike anything most runners will ever encounter.

The Volcano Marathon is more than a race. It is a 5-day adventure designed to immerse participants in the history, culture, and natural beauty of Easter Island.

Beyond race day, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history, culture, and natural beauty of Easter Island, creating an experience that extends far beyond the marathon itself.

The selected Team MK runner will receive the official Volcano Marathon event package, including race entry and hotel accommodations, allowing them to fully experience this extraordinary destination.

As a member of Team Marathon Kids, you’ll not only take on one of the world’s most unique marathons, but you’ll also help support a mission that empowers more than 500,000 kids nationwide to build confidence, healthy habits, and a lifelong love of movement through running.
