What Is the Advocate Network?
The Marathon Kids Advocate Network brings together coaches, educators, and program leaders who believe in the power of movement, and want to help more kids experience it.
By leading a Marathon Kids program, you’re already an Advocate. This network gives you opportunities to share your story, connect with others, and help Marathon Kids grow in ways that feel right for you.
Ways to Activate Your Advocacy
Story Advocate
Share your Marathon Kids experience through stories, quotes, or photos. (Open Year-Round)
PERFECT IF YOU:
- Love sharing the impact you see with your participants
- Want to inspire others without presenting
- Have meaningful moments you want to celebrate
Digital Advocate
Help spread the Marathon Kids message online. (Open Year-Round)
PERFECT IF YOU:
- Use social media regulary to share what matters to you
- Enjoy creating, sharing, and collaborating on content
- Want to amplify movement beyond your school
Outreach Advocate
Share Marathon Kids in a formal setting with a district, organization, or conference. (Open annually from February - April )
PERFECT IF YOU:
- Enjoy sharing things you believe in with colleagues or peers
- Have a natural opportunity to speak within your district, organization, or at a conference
- Want to help other schools and programs discover a free, proven way to get kids moving
