  • Student Information: From our partner schools, we collect first name, last name, student number (optional), grade, homeroom or P.E. section, and gender. Our software also collects data on student lap run dates, times, and distance traveled.
  • Usage Information: We and our third-party service providers may collect usage data such as browser type, operating system, IP address, and information about your interaction with our app or website.
  • We do not respond to “do not track” signals from web browsers. Third-party advertisers may use tracking technologies on our site.

We do not use student data for commercial purposes. All student information is used strictly for educational purposes related to program participation and performance reporting. We do not sell or use student data for marketing or commercial benefits.

You may update your information by logging into your account or contacting us. We retain data as necessary for business and legal purposes. 

    • Data Retention: We retain student data only for educational purposes and to support the goals of the Marathon Kids program. Data retention aligns with the legal requirements and operational needs of the schools and districts we partner with.
    • Data Accuracy and Correction Practices: We are committed to maintaining the accuracy of student information. Parents, guardians, and schools can request corrections to any inaccuracies by contacting Marathon Kids. Corrections will be made promptly and in accordance with applicable data correction policies.
  • Data Disposal Plan: Upon completion of the program or the termination of our partnership with a school district, Marathon Kids follows a data disposal plan that ensures all student PII is securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable data retention policies and legal requirements.
